I can't wait to meet you soon! Let me tell you a little about myself.
I married my sweetheart over 30 years ago and we have two adult children. I have a Bachelor Degree in Communication and in 2002 I received my Teaching Certification. I taught Kindergarten in the public school system for 9 years. In August 2011, I decided to make a change and start my own Preschool. It's the best decision I've every made. I absolutely love being an Early Childhood Educator. I have over 20 years of teaching experience. I can't wait to teach your little one.
Our preschool classes help your child to make friends, get socialized, and be more than ready for Kindergarten. We focus on a "whole child" philosophy and help develop your child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills through PLAY.
(Little do they know they are actually learning really important Kindergarten readiness skills WHILE they play - shhh! don't tell them!) We can’t wait for your child to join our preschool class!

- Miss Molly's Preschool offers classes Monday through Friday. I have full day and 1/2 day classes available.
Welcome, Table Time
We are so excited for everyone to arrive! We get right to working on fine motor skills with fun arts and crafts.
Circle Time
We gather together at the circle rug to work on our cognitive, social, language, and gross motor skills with our sharing time, calendar, weather, job helpers and music & movement.
Center Time
Often known as “Free Play” or “Play Time,” our many centers include Dramatic Play, Sensory, Art, Building, Literacy, Writing, and Science. We work on social, emotional, and language skills such as using our words, taking turns, being patient, negotiating conflicts, etc. In addition, our teacher brings over small groups or works 1-on-1 with building cognitive skills (colors, shapes, letters, sounds, numbers, counting, math/reading for older kids) based on each child’s level.
Recess
Our playground areas include play structures, sand boxes, balls, and more! You’ll think we’re just playing, but we’re actually working on our social, emotional, language, and gross motor skills as we run, jump, climb, and create games. We also play a lot of fun water games during the summer to keep us cool.
Lunch Time
We love working on our cognitive, social, language, and fine motor skills as we pour, measure, sort, count, chat, and enjoy eating together.

At Miss Molly's Preschool, we follow a “whole child” philosophy where we partner with you to improve your child’s Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical skills. Your child will learn to socialize, make friends, develop social and emotional skills, and be more than ready for kindergarten! In fact, kindergarten teachers LOVE our students so much because they're such great learners!
Our curriculum is based on the NAEYC guidelines and features a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities to accomplish these goals.
We also incorporate Pocket of Preschool Curriculum
We aim to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive and enthusiastic learners by actively exploring their environment.
In fact, one of the best ways we can teach is to ask THEM questions. "What are you creating?" "How does it work?" "Tell me about what you drew." etc.
We assess our students three times each year to discover what areas they're strong in, and what areas still need more work.
We keep you in the loop on what we're working on, and we also let you know exactly how your child is doing.
Children learn SO MUCH MORE when they have the chance to explore and play without rules of what art "should" look like at the end.
Every few weeks, we dive deep into a new, exciting theme based on the Pocket of Preschool Curriculum.
We change out our centers and materials to reflect the new theme. Our classroom is always changing, and you never know what exciting things we'll add next week!

When you're at Miss Molly's Preschool, you're family! We're conveniently located in the Park Scottsdale subdivision. You'll love our warm, bright in-home preschool, and your child will love our 1-on-1 attention with our small class sizes of just 8 to 10 students!
We are strictly a preschool (not a daycare) for children ages 3-5 We offer MORE THAN just preschool... Not only do we help your child socialize and get ready for kindergarten, we also offer free field trips & events for your entire family so we can experience the magic of preschool... TOGETHER.
2 Full Days/Week: $90/week
3 Full Days/Week: $135/week
5 Full Days/Week: $185/week

Due to high demand, our classes fill up ridiculously fast. Please call as soon as you even think about enrolling so we can see if we have a spot for you.
If we do have a spot, we'll schedule a tour. We'll also reserve your child's spot so you don't lose it before we meet.
During the tour, we'll tell you all about us. At the end, we'll ask: "Would you like your child to come to Miss Molly's Preschool?" If so, that's when we'll have you fill out the registration form and we'll collect the registration fee: $75 for preschool.
