We follow a “whole child” philosophy where we work with you to improve your child’s Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical skills. Our curriculum is based on the NAEYC guidelines and features a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities to accomplish these goals. We also incorporate Pocket of Preschool Curriculum. Your child will learn to socialize, make friends, develop social and emotional skills, and be more than ready for Kindergarten!
Nope! We work very hard to provide a child first curriculum to teach the students throughout the year. As such, we expect students to be here every day they're scheduled to be, checked in promptly when school starts, and picked up on time at the end of the day.
Our Preschool classes are designed for children who are ages 3-5 by Sep. 1.
Our summer program is for children who are ages 3-5 by June 1.
Yes. We do require that all our students are potty trained and can use the bathroom without assistance.
If you have any questions about whether or not your child is ready, feel free to give us a call. We even have a “How To Potty Train” your child handout we can give you. It’s helped many preschool moms quickly potty train their kids. We’re here to help!
We have a 10-month school year (Aug.-May). Specific start dates fluctuate each year in line with the Scottsdale Unified School District's calendar. Feel free to contact us if you have questions about specific dates.
We also have a summer program that runs from the end of the school year, through June-July, and up until the beginning of the following school year.
Yes! If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-year. Please call us to see if we have any spots available.
We have a two week Winter Break during the last two weeks in December and a week long Spring Break typically in March, but no Fall Break.
We occasionally have "Field Trips" throughout the year available for families to attend. For our field trips each family is invited to meet at an additional location together and one or more parent or guardian is required to chaperone their child at all times.
Nope! Your registration fee covers all your child’s supplies and reserves a spot in our program.
Your child will also receive at no extra cost: a preschool shirt to wear on Spirit Day and a graduation portfolio!
Full Time students will be offered breakfast every morning between 8:00-9:00 am, and snacks in the afternoon.
All other food, including lunch, or additional snacks must be packed and sent to school with the student. We can refrigerate and heat up food upon request.
Aside from a packed lunch we request you also send your child with a reusable water bottle to be used every day and an extra change of clothes just in case of any accidents or something unexpected happens. All other supplies will be provided for your child.
No worries. Several of our students have food intolerances or allergies. Our food selection is nut-free and we have alternative snack options for students with food restrictions. In certain cases we may ask parents to send extra food or snacks with their child that we will serve your child in place of our standard food.
Our classes have up to 10 students per class. Our small class sizes allow your child for individualized care and to get lots of 1-on-1 time.
